Bourton-on the-Water

Hi everyone,

This meetup is for lunch & a short stroll in Bourton-on-the-Water which is a small tourist orientated Cotswold village .

Meeting point: Bourton-on-the Water High Street, outside the Edinburgh Woollen Mill.

Meeting time 12.15pm.

You can either take the bus from Cheltenham to Bourton on the Water (bus leaves Royal Well at 11.30am and costs £2 each way or £4 return) or travel by car (parking at Bourton Vale Car park). (Would recommend car sharing as parking is chargeable)

We'll meet in the High Street outside the Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Bourton-on-the-Water at 12.15pm head to The Chestnut Tree Cafe for lunch (which has indoor and outdoor seating) (or another cafe if full).

We'll do a short stroll of the village encompassing the various streets.

You have the option to head back to Cheltenham on the 2.05pm bus from opposite the Edinburgh Woollen Mill.

There is there is a motor museum (good for a rainy day!) and also a model village (both chargeable)

Please note you are responsible for your own safety at all times.

If the narrow footpath means you end up walking on the road at any point, please be super vigilant of any cars.

The next bus back to Cheltenham is at 4.05pm from opposite the Edinburgh Woollen Mill.

It's £2 each way to travel by bus from Cheltenham Royal Well on Pulhams Service 801.
