Welcome to Bonnie Doon – A True Blue Aussie Night Out
We're heading straight to serenity for this one!
Set inside a beautifully restored 19th-century building (formerly Bloodhound Bar), Bonnie Doon Public House is a heartfelt tribute to the classic Aussie film The Castle — and the Kerrigan family's idea of paradise. Just like in the movie, this venue captures that down-to-earth Aussie charm with a cheeky twist and a whole lot of character.
The menu is a nostalgic nod to old-school Aussie favourites: think house-baked damper with Vegemite honey butter, devilled eggs with curry and mountain pepper mayo, pork-and-beef rissoles, and of course, a little sprinkle of childhood joy with fairy bread.
Thirsty? You’ll be spoilt for choice with 14 taps pouring the best of Australian craft beer, from Beerfarm’s hazy IPAs to bold double IPAs from Range Brewing and a rich stout courtesy of Seven Mile.
Whether you're here for a laugh, a feed, or a cold one with mates, Bonnie Doon brings the Aussie spirit alive and yes, it’s going straight to the pool room.
