Thursday Hikes In Eagle Creek Park

Join us for four hike options in Eagle Creek Park every Thursday morning. Eagle Creek Park is Indy's largest and most scenic park. These are usually the best attended Club hikes each week and a great time to meet new people. Guests frequently join us. There are four different hikes to choose from all leaving from the same place at the same time each Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. : a 5 mile all trail hike at a brisk pace, including some hills; a 4 mile groomed trail hike at a moderate pace; and a 3-4 mile on flat groomed trails and paved roads at even a moderate to slow pace; and a 1-2 mile hike for folks rehabbing from an injury or new to hiking. Meetup guests are always welcome and there is no fee to hike with us, other than the Eagle Creek Park entry fee. Meetup attendees will be joined by upwards of 50 or more (that's what I said) members of the Indy Hiking Club who do not need to signup for the hikes on Meetup. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to 9:30 a.m., since all four hikes start on time.

Directions to Hiking Venue: Enter Eagle Creek Park (entry fee) from either the 56th St or 71st St entrance and follow signs for the Earth Discovery (Nature) Center. All three hikes meet in the Earth Discovery Center parking lot.
