August Book Club: The Tenant of Wildfell Hall - Anne Bronte

August's book will be The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte.

Considered to be one of the first feminist books, its depiction of a woman who has flouted Victorian society by leaving an abusive marriage was shocking at the time, so much so, that Charlotte Bronte prevented its republication after Anne's untimely death.
