This is a Meetup group for professional artists/creatives to meetup, make friends and get some quality work done in a private co-working space, rented out, just for you. :)

Specifically designed for people who are already experienced Artists/Creatives working in their retrospective industries, but often find themselves working alone and long for that inspiring creative environment they once had in a studio, or never had the chance to experience as a freelancer!

Whether you're a remote worker, or simply want to get on with your personal projects outside of your job, this is the creative space for youuu!

Every week we aim to rent out a private co-working meeting room at Home Sweet Home Co-working space - Taipei, put on some low volume chill lo-fi in the background, and simply spend the day working, chatting, collaborating, sharing quality focused & creative time together.

All events are FREE! However if you'd like to contribute to the rental fee of the space, we certainly won't complain. :) Rest assured though, there is no obligation.

Creativity needs the right environment to thrive, and if you're struggling to find that, then this group is for you!

Hi, my Name is Rich!
I am an Art Director/Character Designer working in the Game Industry for 11 years. I used to love attending Industry Workshops, Events, Collaborating in Creative Teams inside Studios, and Meetups etc, back in the UK. Since moving to Asia 8 years ago I have been since longing for that comradery again! Hence creating this group for people like us. My goal is to simply create a space to make friends and enjoy quality creation time together, that's it. :)

We are very sorry, but this is not a group for Networking or searching for work opportunities. This group is for Professionals only. At events like this, when Professionals and Hobbiests looking for work are mixed, an uncomfortable, somewhat transactional dynamic can occur. We're very sorry. 😔 But we'd rather avoid that in this group, as that is not the focus. Thank you kindly for understanding. There are other groups for Hobbiests - We encourage such individuals to seek them out instead. 😊 At the end of the day, we're all looking to connect with those in the same boat as us. That's how true friendships are forged!
