Welcome to the Minneapolis MN InvestHER Chapter! This group has been created to help women real estate investors local to Minneapolis MN meet, connect, and learn together and from one another!

MEET THE INVESTHER LEADERS:

Deena Laugen:
Deena founded Sophia Grace Properties, LLC in 2015, specializing in revitalizing distressed properties and managing them as long-term rentals. She's skilled in various areas, including construction, re-zoning, single-family to multi-family conversion, land subdivision, and property management. In 2020, she expanded into vacation rentals, hosting guests at a stunning pool home in Florida. Managing nine properties with an impressive annual revenue, Deena aims to grow her portfolio and seize new opportunities. As a Realtor with Desrochers Realty Group and eXp, Deena provides top-notch service and education. Her extensive real estate experience enables her to navigate finding, funding, renovating, and enjoying homes. Deena's true joy lies in helping homeowners and investors alike find a home that excites them and guiding them through the process of calling it their own.

Hattie Johnson:
Hattie has an extensive background in the hospitality industry where time was of the essence and no detail could be missed. These skills provide her Renovo clients an efficient, top-notch, and customer-focused experience day in and day out. Outside of the office, Hattie enjoys improving her golf game, working on home projects, and exploring new restaurants in town. While a pet sounds like a fun addition to the family, two kids and a husband are enough for her to take care of.

Alyssa Strom:
Alyssa graduated with a BA degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas and worked for a women's economic development non-profit in small business lending before moving into real estate in 2017. She worked for a Twin Cities based investor and developer from 2016-2018 and managed their portfolio (mix of residential and commercial). From there, Alyssa worked for a local flipper who was rehabbing about 3-5 houses per month. She became a full-time realtor in 2019 and has helped over 40 local investors purchase househacks or investment properties in the last two years. She owns 7 doors herself and runs a local REI group with over 3800 members.
