After taking a deeper dive into Thai restaurants around Orlando, I’m changing it to Koon Thai. The other restaurant called me back and they are unable able to accommodate our group individually and required a prepay buffet.

Koon Thai was incredibly welcoming and excited to host us, and the menu looks far more authentic than the other Thai restaurants around here, with dishes and flavors that are much closer to what you’d actually find in Thailand.

One thing that immediately stood out to me was the Pad Krapow being served with a fried egg on top! something you surprisingly don’t see often at Americanized Thai restaurants, but it’s very common in Thailand and honestly one of my favorite meals ever.

Since Thailand is especially close to my heart, authenticity was really important to me for this meetup, and this place truly seems to capture that traditional family owned feel. I’m excited for everyone to experience it!
