Book Swap & Author Conversation - BookClub 1st Birthday!

The Bellevue Book Club is turning One🎉 Come celebrate our 1-year anniversary as a book club with us!

Sunday 10/12 at 3rd Culture Café in downtown Bellevue from 4pm - 5:30pm.

We are so grateful to all the amazing people who have joined us over the last year to make this club possible. It’s been a wonderful experience getting to know all of our members and being able to build a stronger community together. A special thank you to 3rd Culture Café and the Bellevue Library as well for being so welcoming and sharing their spaces with us this year.

To celebrate, we’ll be hosting a party at 3rd Culture Café that includes a social mixer, book swap, and author meet & greet.

Dr. Charlotte Chun will be joining us as one of her stops in Seattle on her 2025 US Book Tour. She is the author of Earliest Memories, a book that “takes you on a rich exploration of our earliest childhood memories and what makes these early imprints so special”. We are so excited to have her and to hear more about her work!

Schedule:
4 – 4:30pm: Social mixer & Bingo ( there will be prizes for the winners)
4:30 – 5pm: Book swap (optional - bring a book you like to give and get a book that interest you)
5pm – 5:30pm: Author meet & greet

Our goal has been to create a fun and welcoming place for people to gather, meet new people, and build a community together. We’d like to thank all of you for such an amazing year, and we’re looking forward to many more to come!

*** Please only RSVP if you can make it to the meeting since there is limited capacity. We also ask that members purchase something at 3rd Culture Café to support them. They’ve been kind enough to stay open late for us to have this party.

This is a one-off event and not our normal book discussion. Reading Earliest Memories prior to the party is not required. Dr. Chun will provide a summary and discussion about the concepts in her book, and there will be an opportunity to purchase it afterwards at a 10% discount if you are interested.
