November Gong Sound Bath: Gratitude and Peace
The time around Thanksgiving makes us contemplate gratitude. The gong can help us to actually vibrate gratitude and send it to every cell of our body. When we feel gratitude we are ultimately in a state of peace, where everything is perfect just as it is. The vibration of the gong helps us to truly pause, and it's only then that our mind is calm and we can clearly see the daily gifts given to us by Life. If you have family or a friend in town for the holiday, bring them with to this special gong immersion that will help everyone feel relaxed and in tune with the spirit of Thanksgiving! RESERVE YOUR SPOT HERE: CLASS STRUCTURE: Gong sound bath participants are continuously amazed at its ability to "shut the brain down" and create a sense of aliveness in the body. The timeless sound of the gong also balances our body, mind and emotions. During a gong sound bath participants lay on the floor for about 45 min, covered with a blanket. All props are provided at the studio, however for maximum coziness bring your own pillow and blanket. Dress comfortably. The class is led by gong master Vesna Sanders (Eeshavasya Dasi). *A Gong Bath is not recommended for pregnant women, people with sensitivity to sound or conditions such as Tinnitus, Menieres and Epilepsy, or people with metal Implants, pins, screws or pacemakers

    What we're about

WHAT IS A GONG? A gong is an instrument that has been used since ancient times. It’s vibration takes every participant on an incredible personal inner journey. Gongs are energy generators, able to affect an individual on a cellular level, allowing deep inner harmonizing to take place. Nothing can clear your mind like a gong does! Gongs help to release tension in the physical body, and they also work deeply on the mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.

WHAT IS A GONG BATH? During a gong bath participants lie on the floor, covered in a blanket, for about 45 min and simply get “massaged” by the transformational sound of the gong. At the beginning of class we take time for a guided relaxation and to connect with the theme of the class, and we reserve a few minutes at the end of the end for silence and a slow, gentle awakening from the sound session.

SOUND: Sound has the ability to positively affect our whole being. Sound can help with inducing relaxation, but also has a potential of moving through areas of energetic blockages in our physical and mental bodies.

A little about myself: My name is Vesna and my spiritual name is Eeshavasya Dasi. I am a certified yoga teacher, OM chanting organizer, photographer and gong master. I practice Atma Kriya Yoga and my spiritual teacher is Paramahamsa Vishwananda. My gong training was with Don Conreaux, the master of all gong masters. I am very grateful to all my teachers for the knowledge they gave me access to and I happily share it forward.

*A Gong Bath is NOT recommended for pregnant women (due to unstable nature of any pregnancy), nor for people with sensitivity to sound or conditions such as Tinnitus, Menieres and Epilepsy, or people with metal Implants, pins and screws. The rhythm of a pacemaker may also be affected by sound and is therefore NOT recommended for a gong bath.

    * The word "healing" in the group title stands for "becoming whole or balanced". It does not mean, imply or promise to cure any type of disease. Gong baths should never be used instead of medical treatment and one should never discontinue medical treatments or medicines without permission from their docror.
