I’d like to host free music meetups. Please bring your own chairs and equipment. It will be held in a garage for equipment safety and is FREE. I ask that only 21 and older attend. This is alcohol free and to meet your fellow musicians to talk shop. Absolutely no smoking inside the space, that includes vapes.
I’m offering a space and wattage. You have access to a bathroom and a fridge too. I had the best experience growing up with local music in Houston and feel it has disappeared
or been commercialized and before I move to NYC I’d like to give other Houstonians a chance to connect with each other. I will not be recording any material like I see a lot of bars doing without giving appropriate legal advice or consents - it’s your material.
All levels of musicians are welcome. I myself am more a singer and acoustics is very new to me. I’m probably going to plan this on weekends because I’m thinking midweek will upset neighbors at any “time” of day. So, looks like maybe it’ll have to be discussed as a group.
Please do not show up if you’re under 18.
WiFi is available to varying with how much load is available per equipment.
Also dB will have to be monitored for ear safety, and I’ll try to pick up some cheap ear plugs if amps
Are low volume used.
