About us
Introvert Social Group - Melbourne
Making friends without the pressure of big groups.
If you’re an introvert, naturally quiet, shy, or simply someone who prefers smaller and more relaxed social settings, this group is for you.
Our goal is simple: to make it easier to meet new people and build genuine friendships in a way that feels comfortable, low-pressure and enjoyable.
Small groups — MAX 8 attendees
Forget crowded meetups where you're expected to walk into a room full of 40+ strangers and somehow work the room.
Our events are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 8 attendees, so there's more opportunity for genuine conversation and getting to know the people around you.
Socialise at your own pace
There’s no pressure to be the loudest person in the room, talk to everyone, or constantly keep a conversation going.
Come along, settle in, participate as much as you feel comfortable with, and let conversations develop naturally.
Whether you're naturally quiet, take a little while to warm up, or simply prefer meaningful conversations over small talk, you're welcome here.
Connect through activities
Sometimes it's easier to connect when you're doing something together rather than sitting around trying to make conversation.
We'll get together for a variety of relaxed activities around Melbourne — such as cafés, games, creative activities, walks, markets, movies, mini golf and other fun experiences.
The activity gives us something to share, while the small group gives us the opportunity to actually connect.
Who should join?
We're looking for people in Melbourne who:
• Prefer smaller social groups
• Want to make new friends without the pressure of big social events
• Enjoy relaxed, genuine conversations
• Are happy to socialise at their own pace
• Like the idea of connecting through shared activities
• Are looking for friendships rather than a party or networking scene
If you feel more comfortable in smaller, low-pressure social settings, you'll fit right in.
What are our events like?
Each meetup will be different, but the philosophy stays the same:
Small group. Relaxed activity. No pressure. Genuine connection.
Come by yourself or with someone you know. Grab a coffee, play a game, explore somewhere new, try an activity and meet a few people along the way.
No massive crowds. No forced networking. No pressure to perform socially.
Just a small group of people looking to connect in a way that feels comfortable.
Small groups. Socialise at your own pace. Connect through activities.
Ready to meet some new people?
Join the group, check out the upcoming events and come along when you find one that feels right for you. You don't need to know anyone beforehand — just come as you are.
I'm Alana, and I'm looking forward to meeting you at an event soon!
