Poetry Meetup and Workshop

Hi everyone! Lets meet on Saturday afternoon to share and discuss anything poetry-related. We'll meet at the Cornwall Park Band Rotunda at 3:00pm.

The Cornwall Park Cafe is right there for coffee fixes or if the weather isn't quite right. Best entrance is Pohutukawa Drive off Greenlane West.

We'll aim for sharing a poem or two each, either your own work or someone else's that you've enjoyed (ideally both so we can all glean the most from the group), then see where the discussion leads us. We'll assess numbers on the day to make sure that everyone gets a fair shot at contributing.

If you would appreciate constructive feedback on your work, we'll let you clarify this at the time.

Of course, if you don't feel comfortable sharing or don't have anything to share just yet, please feel free to come and listen.

An integral aspect of a group like this is the opportunity to get to know each other and foster creativity together.
