2025 NYS Championship Firematic Tournament (aka the firefighter Olympics)

Come eat, drink and be merry as we cheer our WNY main-transit firefighters on in their quest for gold at the state firematic championship this year!

If you’ve never seen this competition, you will be amazed. I can’t post videos here so check the firematic videos out on YouTube to see what it’s all about.

We have not hosted this championship event in many years and wont again for many more years. Even more unique is that these tournaments with the added race car aspect only exist in NY state.

You can purchase’s tickets on eventbrite (recommended) or at the gate if they don’t sell out. $10. They have decent grilled food and drinks that are inexpensive. There’s a band later at night.

Competition runs all day. My favorite events are near the beginning and end so I’ll be in and out throughout the day.

Come at whatever time works for you but let’s plan to meet as a group for dinner/drinks at 6 and sit together after.
We’ll meet on the east side of the track (that’s to your right when facing the track from Main Street). We’ll meet near the grills. Wear black and orange to support our local team- the Slo Pokes!
