Because we enjoyed the 15 mile Greenleaf to Green Bay Endurance Walk so much, we're taking on another endurance challenge with a brand new route !

This walk will be from Baird Creek in Green Bay to Ledgeview Park in De Pere ! Walk is estimated to be about 13 miles through woods, city, and along the East River. This might seem long, but the distance is only the equivalent of a half marathon and very doable. No running intended, slow walker sets the pace. We'll probably be on the trail 4-5 hours and definitely get our step count in for the day.

We'll meet at Ledgeview Park in De Pere and carpool to the Baird Creek Trailhead in Green Bay. From there, we'll start our journey back to Ledgeview Park on foot. This will be a winding trail with a moderate chance of us getting lost as it travels through the city at times, apparently using some sidewalks ??? We are kinda smart people and will figure it out. Because we earned it, we'll stop for lunch at a place the group decides at the end of our walk.

This will be a big calorie burn and the experts say walking is one of the best things for us. Grab your water bottle, some trail mix, lace up your shoes, and lets get this done !!! 💪

Hey guys, let's see some testosterone at this event. The ladies have been kicking our butts when it comes to the pure fitness events. Your body looks like the choices you've made, make good ones ! But, I definitely recommend this not be your first walk for the year.
