Hike in Jacks Peak (Earl Moser/Madrone Loop))

Let's meet in the other Jacks Peak parking area (down the road that is to the left of the ranger’s booth/park entrance) (not the same parking lot as the previous hike here). This lot is called East Picnic Parking on the map. The plan is to hike the Earl Moser/Madrone Trail Loop which has a moderate elevation gain (200 feet), and is about 2 miles. So the walk should take about an hour. This trail loops around the east end of the park, and traces along a high ridge that passes by several viewing benches. Please dress in layers, and bring a charged cell phone and a water bottle. The hike will begin promptly 5 minutes after the posted start time.
