Breakfast Tea and a tour of House for an Art Lover
Details
House for an Art Lover
Originally designed to be an elegant country retreat for tasteful socialites, the house is set within the magnificent 169 acre grounds of Bellahouston Park
In 1901, Glasgow's very own Charles Rennie Mackintosh entered a competition to design a "Haus Eines Kunstfreundes", or "Art Lovers House"
Despite being disqualified on technical grounds, the judges were impressed with Mackintosh's unique design
More than 70 years on, and Mackintosh's concept became a stunning and truly inspirational reality
The fun doesn't stop there - make a day of it by exploring the maze, or wandering around the Victorian walled garden
