Book Club: Attached (by Amir Levine and Rachel Heller)

Details
Hi Page Mages,
I want you to ask yourself if you are anxious, avoidant or secure? You must be thinking, what on earth do those words mean?
Well, have you ever pondered if there is a science to love? Do you wonder why some romantic relationships thrive while others struggle? If you’ve asked those questions as I have done then maybe this is the book to read.
In this book Amir Levine, a psychiatrist and neuroscientist and psychologist Rachel Heller explain attachment theory to us. It’s the theory that explains why people behave the way they do in relationships. The three attachement styles: anxious, aviodent and secure outlines the way in which we connect, communicate and seek intimacy or closeness not just with a partner but with our family, friends and collagues.
Hope to see you on the 5th October to discuss 🙂
