Book Club: Slaughterhouse Five (by Kurt Vonnegut)

Hi Readers,

Hope that you’re all well. In an effort to get back into things, I thought it would be good to read Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut. It’s a book that blends historical events, science fiction, satire, and dark humour.

The story follows Billy Pilgrim, an ordinary man whose experiences of war, memory, and time unfold in an unconventional way. Through Billy's journey, Vonnegut explores themes such as the impact of war, the nature of free will, the fragility of human life, and how people cope with trauma.
