Hope that you’re all well. One of this month’s books is Lilith by Nikki Marmery.
Who is Lilith? She’s a figure that’s been portrayed as a demon in Mesopotamian mythology and in other lore she has been depicted as a dangerous spirit who preyed upon infants and pregnant women. There’s one story that is lesser known, and that is of Lilith, the first wife of Adam who refused to submit to his will and was cast out of Eden.
Lilith by Nikki Marmery reimagines the story of the enigmatic Lilith from the bible and her quest for justice.
