Ulysses - James Joyce - Chapter 1 (Telemachus)

Ulysses reading group!
We will be reading the first chapter of Ulysses, 'Telemachus', for this meeting—a mere 25 pages! We will be meeting at the Merlo Branch of Chicago Public Library at 10am on the 21st March.
If you didn't make the first meeting that is OK and you can still come along to this one. The more the merrier.
I will work on having some discussion questions for the meeting and time-permitting may post some questions/things to brood on here before we actually meet.
p.s. this week's image is of Martello tower, where the majority of the first chapter takes place. Joyce actually lived in the tower with Oliver Gogarty (the real life Buck Mulligan) for a few nights and his disdain for Gogarty partially stemmed from his experiences there.
