First Saturday Sewing

Hi Sewing Friends,

This month is an open sew event: all skill levels are welcome! Bring something you're currently working on or join me for some satisfyingly quick sews.

Instant Gratification Options:

• Headbands (please bring an old T-shirt)
• Wrist-length or longer lanyards
• Moon and star-shaped pillows
• Baskets
• Bucket hats
• Chapstick holders
• Whatever I'm inspired by lately

About The Space
We are fortunate to be hosted in a beautiful makerspace, Derita Design, located in the University area. Parking is in the back of the lot and there will be space for 6-10 vehicles. This space features a couple of nifty sewing machines! However, please feel encouraged to bring your own, too.

*Please note: I am requesting a $10 admission at the event which will support growing the makerspace.
