Thursday Night Trivia - Online!

Hi everyone! Claudia is graciously allowing us to promote Thursday Night Trivia- Online! through her group. We've been hosting this bi-weekly game through Central Jersey Trivia Night's meetup group since 2020. Since the game is posted on each site, even if attendance looks low here, there will be more people playing who registered under CJTN. We would love to have you join us as well!

We play a social game with plenty of conversation and moderately competitive questions. The topics/categories change every week.

Officially the zoom meeting starts at 7:30pm, but it is good for first time players to join 5-10 minutes early to make sure you're connected. We admit players one at a time and require each person to show themselves live on camera while they are checking-in. We go over the rules at 7:45. The event usually runs between 2 and 2.5 hours depending how prompt everyone is about connecting.

Play from your smartphone or a computer. We (the hosts) create teams based on who joins us each night. It's helpful if you can have multiple tabs open and toggle between them, though not required. We read and show the questions on screen and use google forms for the answer sheets. Teams can discuss their answers while in zoom breakout rooms, then submit one answer form.

There will be 5 rounds of 10 questions each. No prizes, just fun and bragging rights.
