I've always loved to hike and mountain bike this loop. It's got great views and the terrain is both beautiful and challenging. It's about 4 miles total with about 700ft of elevation gain. I call this one moderate just because of the winding trails up rocky ridge and that most of the 700 ft of elevation gain is in the first two miles, but I'm always happy to take it easy and slow depending on the pace of the group. Also, half of this hike will be down hill.

Please note that this is a Santa Clara County Park so there's a $6 parking fee. You can park for free down the hill, but if it's your first time hiking this trail it's probably best to park with the group in the park until you get a feel for the area.

Also, there's a good chance that I bring my dog Izzy FYI.

Here's a link to the park info and feel free to leave any questions in the comments or DM me.
