Camp & Paddle Alum Creek

Join us for an Adult Only weekend of paddling and hiking as we explore Alum Creek State Park. Located just north of Columbus in Delaware, OH, Alum Creek has something for everyone. The reservoir has boating: both no-limit and no-wake zones, hiking, fishing, equestrian trails, mountain biking and swimming at the 3,000ft beach!
Friday late afternoon we will hike (slow pace) the 1.2-mile Park Office Loop. This loop intersects with other trails for a possible total of 6-7miles. Members can extend their hike to what suits them.
Friday evening gather around the campfire.
Saturday 10:00am we will start our paddle on the Upper Alum Creek Water Trail north from the Howard Rd. We will stop for lunch halfway then make the return trip. Estimated time is about 4 hrs. This could be longer depending on speed, wildlife viewing and excursions into the small coves that line the creek.
Sat. evening gather for games and campfire.

***You will need to make your own reservations. We are in M-loop. When making your reservation select area J thru R from the list. Because of this parks proximity to Columbus it is very popular. Sites are filling very fast. Maximum occupancy is 6 people, 1 camper & 2 tents or 3 tents, and 2 vehicles per site.
