Comic Chat - DIE Vol 1-4

Let's talk about comics and get some beer. Specifically, we'll be reading the comic DIE by Kieron Gillen, for this meetup. Generally, we'll discuss comics and other media. Be ready to talk about your favorite recommendations. It's OK to attend if you don't finish the series, but spoilers including the ending will be discussed.

From the Image webpage: DIE is a pitch-black fantasy where a group of forty-something adults have to deal with the returning unearthly horror they barely survived as teenage role-players. If Kieron's in a rush, he describes it as "Goth Jumanji." That only captures a sliver of what you'll find in oversized debut issue-where fantasy gets all too real.

I've never read this comic before, but trigger warnings are plentiful including psychological trauma, body horror, and suicide. Rated Mature.

DIE has four volumes, or one large book containing all volumes that can be found most places, including libraries/hoopla. We will cover all four volumes at this meetup.
