What weβre about
We have been running events since February 2025 and are expanding our reach across the GTA with ongoing outreach to restaurants and indie publishers and designers around the world. We are a social group, not a dating group, this is written in our Code Of Conduct and must be adhered to π
If you are new, have a question, want to chat, have ideas for events, or anything else you can book a 1 on 1 chat with Dev.
Dev is super open to any feedback and is always happy to meet new people. He prefers to connect with members through video rather than text as it is more personal and that is what I'm So Board is all.
We are a vibrant social community that celebrates the remarkable creations of independent board game designers and publishers through engaging social events π
Our mission is to help people live happier lives by disconnecting from their phones and reconnecting with themselves and with others π₯°
We partner with small businesses within local communities to give back as much as we can π
All proceeds from our ticket sales are used to help create more ongoing events for our community members π
All members must follow our Code Of Conduct at our events. If you act against our code of conduct we have the right to remove you from our events and potentially our community as well so please follow it.
Unless stated otherwise event RSVPs close 24 hrs prior to the event so we can give our venue partners enough notice. Please RSVP in advance to save your spot.

Event Testimonials π
βI had a great time at the event. It was very casual and easy to interact with everyone. The ice breakers were a great idea and made it easy to open up to others and get to know them. The venue was nice. There were many games to play individually or as a group. The size of our group made it great to be able to interact with everyone. I would strongly recommend this event as a great way to just have a good time, while getting to know awesome people in Toronto.β
π² SaadβBeing at one of these events is amazing! Friendly people, great vibes! Well organized events. Highly recommend.β
π² AliβThe group has a lot of fun people to hangout with, and the atmosphere is very friendly. The location was easy to access and had some nice drinks/foods. Overall a very good experience.β
π² StevenβI joined Iβm So Board after I met Devlin (Dev) the group manager, he invited me to join one of the games and honestly it was one of the best things I have done to socialize with people in Toronto. As a new comer and a refugee I am struggling with making new friends and social connection and I get lonely a lot of the time. Generally speaking the games are fun and all the people attending are very nice and honestly very helpful. Everyone shares their experiences and taught me how to play by explaining the games really well. Also Dev was very nice and accommodating because he starting picking new locations closer to everyone to accommodate for everyoneβs distance needs. Finally I just want to say that it is a very friendly group and they offer nice activities and it is a very good place to meet new people and have a nice time interacting with each other.β
π² SeifβThe event and people were great. The host was very welcoming, and the attendees were very kind and helpful. I enjoyed how the host catered to individuals interests and either really knew or explained things very well. It was really fun and a really good experience getting to play new games and old. I look forward to attending another event soon with the great efforts people put in to attend and teach and I hope for many events hopefully yet to come.β
π² MaryβThe board game event was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was filled with excitement, friendly competition, and laughter. Whether you were a seasoned strategist or a casual player, there was something for everyone.β
π² Vivian"As a first timer in Toronto, I was looking for a chill activity where I could make new friends. Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. Dev really cared about our board game preferences and catered to our interests with his magical box full of games! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for hours of good fun and a great crowd.β
π² Meet"It has a super nice lunch with great people, good food and fun games. We had a fantastic time!β
