Church At The Park

Welcome to Church at the Park.

This group was born from a simple conversation about Jesus.

A few years ago a friend and I were talking about faith, life, and what Jesus means to us. In the middle of the conversation, my friend smiled and said, “You know, we’re having church right now.” And then she mentioned Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

That conversation has stayed with me all of these years…

The more I think about it, the more I realize that some of the most meaningful spiritual conversations I’ve ever had didn’t happen inside a church building. They happened over coffee, on walks, at restaurants, and sitting in parks with people who have love in their hearts.

Church at the Park is for people who love Jesus, are curious about faith, or simply want to have authentic conversations about God but who don’t necessarily want to go to a traditional church setting.

Many of us appreciate Jesus deeply but don’t always connect with traditional church. This group isn’t meant to replace anyone’s church home or criticize organized churches. Instead, it’s a space for honest discussion, friendship, prayer, Bible study, and encouragement in a simple outdoor setting.

Whether you’re a lifelong believer, returning to faith, questioning, searching, or just interested in learning more about Jesus, you’re welcome here.

We’ll gather in local parks or coffee shops (I know a coffee shop isn’t a park) to discuss Scripture, share our experiences, ask questions, and support one another as we seek to follow Christ better.

No pressure. No perfect people.

Just people gathering in the name of Jesus.
