Hiking to Penglai Fairy Island mountain(蓬萊仙島山), near Shihmen Reservoir

The entire journey takes about 5 hours. 10 km walk, and the total elevation is 400 meters.

• Meeting place: 中壢火車站 前站(中和路) (ZhongHe Road) exit, in front of the ticket gate. Wait for only 5-10 min.

**ATTENTION** Check your closest train station and train time!

• Train Ziqiang Express 115 (自強號 115). Check your train schedule
  Nangang : 8:44 am
  Songshan : 8:49 am
  Taipei: 8:57 am
  Banqiao: 9:08 am
  - We will arrive at ZhongLi station (中壢站) at 09:42 am
  - We will take 503 bus or take a taxi to Shimen Scenic Spot at 10:00am
  - Estimate arrive at Shimen bus station at 11:10 am or 10:50 am (taxi)
  - Walk to the stairs behind Yishan Pavilion to start climbing

on the way back we walk to the exit at the bottom of the dam and call UBER or Taxi.

Bring: 2L water, sunscreen, umbrella, lunch or snack, taxi money.
