Hiking Monkey Mountain (猴山岳五連峰)

Event Date: October 18th, 2025(Saturday)
Meeting Time: 11:00 AM
Meeting Location: Maokong Cable Car Station. (if you are coming from Taipei Zoo MRT Station, you need to walk to the cable car station.) We will take the cable car to Zhinangong Station 指南宮站.

Planned Route: Mao Cable Car Zhinan Gong Station > Monkey Mountain Frontier > Monkey Mountain > Arouyang Mountain > Ergeshan (Xiaobaiyue) > Nanbangliao Mountain > Mao Cable Car Zhinan Palace Station

We will return by cable car as well.

Difficulty: Low-Medium ⭐️⭐️ (Gloves are recommended for roped sections)
Estimated Distance: 9 kilometers
Estimated Time: 4-5 hours

⚠️Recommended Equipment: Basic rations, non-slip closed-toe shoes, a change of clothes for descending the mountain, rain gear, knee pads, trekking poles, plenty of drinking water, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, a first aid kit, and daily medications.
Notes:
🔺Easy card: At least $300 for cable car.
🔺This is a self-organized tour. The host is not the tour leader, guide, or nanny. They are enthusiastic promoters and have no legal obligations.
🔺 Participants in this group participate in any activities on their own initiative and are responsible for their own personal and financial safety. In the event of any accident or injury during the activity, neither the organizer nor any participating member will be held legally responsible. All participants will be responsible for handling any disputes and coordinating insurance arrangements.
If it rains, the trip will be canceled and members will be notified by Meetup or Line.
