Note: If the route to Cihu is blocked, you will need to return to Sanceng. (The third floor is near Cihu Lake + 5-minute drive)
18:10/19:15 Arrive at Taoyuan High Speed ​​Rail Station, board train 664 back to Taipei

Trail:

  • Level 3/5 - Always 3 for me
  • Length: 13.3K
  • Total time 5.5h including breaks
  • Total ascent/descent: 658m/640m
  • Restrooms: 10min. after the hike. Cihu park.
  • Dirt roads, paved steps, ridges on the rock with great view. Some steep downhill roads with ropes (not too difficult but might be a little bit slippery)
  • Trail are around the military restriction area for the previous dictator.
  • Trail ends at Cihu (慈湖) Memorial Sculpture Park where there are lots of creepy statues

Bring:

  • Lunch and snacks (Get your lunch in advance if possible)
  • 2L of water
  • Gloves
  • Cash to split the taxi fee (if we can't get on the bus)
  • Easy card for taking train or bus (make sure you have enough balance)
  • Umbrella or raincoat
  • Sunscreen
  • Mosquito repellent
  • Headlamp + power bank. In case it gets dark if we are slow.
