This event has been canceled for many times due to the raining season of northeast. I hope this time the weather is OK.

This trail is located in northeast of Taiwan which you can always appreciate the view of ocean and grassland on the ridge. It is famous for Front Teeth Rocks, great view and unique rocks!

Trial:

  • Level: 3/5 - Not for beginners
  • Distance: 12.8K
  • Total ascent/descent: 690m / 683m
  • Hiking time (including breaks): 6 hours (moderate pace)
  • Trail condition: Most dirt roads, some grass sections, some steep rope sections. Can be slippery if rained or shaded on some sections.
  • Long sleeves are recommended

Gathering:

  • 09:50 Ruifang Station (瑞芳火車站): The square in front of it. We won’t wait because we need to immediately walk to bus stop (10:00)!
  • Join our Line to better find everyone

Transportation:

  • TRA 自強 express train #212 - 09:27 Ruifang Station (瑞芳火車站)
  • TRA local train #1136 (08:57 Taipei) - 09:46 Ruifang Station (瑞芳火車站)
  • No time for buying food!
  • 10:00 Bus #856 (台灣好行黃金福隆線) at Ruifang District Citizens' Square bus stop (瑞芳區民廣場公車站)
  • 10:38 Bitou Cape (鼻頭角) bus stop

Return:

  • This is an O-loop route, we will be back to Bitou Cape
  • Bus #856 back to RuiFang Station (last bus departed at 16:15 from 馬岡 Magang)
  • Bus #791 back to Keelung (departed from Fulong 16:10/17:50/18:50)

Bring:

  • Lunch and snacks (Get your lunch in advance, no time to buy it at the station)
  • 2L of water
  • Gloves
  • Cash to split the taxi fee (if we can't get on the bus)
  • Easy card for taking train (make sure you have enough balance)
  • Umbrella or raincoat
  • Sunscreen
  • Mosquito repellent
  • Headlamp + power bank. In case it gets dark if we are slow.
