Taoyuan Valley 桃源谷: 大里 - 大溪

I visited this trail every year and never got tired of it because it has great view the whole way. You can see the ocean and grassland by walking one the wide open ridge.
The trail is well maintained and easy to walk on but lots of stairs. If you're not used to hiking, you were probably pretty tired afterward. Also, we'll be in direct sunlight on the ridge if it's a sunny day.
It has been raining for a week so the long stairs at the end to Daxi station can be slippery. Please wear shoes with good traction.

- Trail condition: Mostly stairs. The stairs down to 大溪 (Daxi station) is long and can be slippery.
- Highlights: Water buffaloes, grassland, ocean views, open views.
*** Gathering
- 11:27am meet at 大里火車站 (Dali train station) - DON'T BE LATE
- By local train 4162
- Join Line group to contact others
*** What to bring
- Lunch and snacks
- 2L~3L of water (3L if the weather is hot)
- Easy card
- Cash to split the fee for dinner if needed
- Headlamp, Umbrella / raincoat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, power bank.

- Hike ends at Daxi train station
- Take local train from Daxi to Taipei
*** Notes
- It can be dark if we hike too slowly. Please prepare the headlamp, just in case.
- Please wait for others and stay together as a group.
