“Charge the Powerline Loop Hike & Potluck!”

Hike is Apprx. 4.5 Miles in Length and 800’ in Elevation Gain. Rating is Moderate.

Please bring a food and/or drink items to share and utensils to serve if needed.

Please join us for yet another new hike to add to our repertoire, we’ll gather on a neighborhood street to begin our hike on The Sandstone Hills Trail, aka The Powerline Trail. We will head North, then turn Westward and keep straight at the next 3 junctions, followed by 2 Rights to keep on the same Trail.
We’ll pass The Hidden Meadows Trail, where it becomes The Oakbrook Vista Trail. We’ll continue past the junction, climbing until we hit the next junction, making a sharp Left and up a hill to Stephanie Bench(same as The Boomerang Hike) for our delectablele Potluck!
We will merrily return the same way , making a sharp Right, then another Right at Hidden Meadows which ends on Falling Star, continueing down, making a Right at Pathfinder and back to our cars.

Please bring water, hat, sun glasses, bug spray, layers, poles if you use them, and of course a yummy Potluck item to share with the group!
