Join us for a new hike to add to our roster. We’ll trek to Lasky Mesa, where many movies, videos and commercials have been filmed, including Gone With The Wind. Acquired in 2003 by SMMC, it was preserved for future generations and saved from development.

We’ll embark on the Upper Las Virgenes Cyn Trail, take the first rt at East Las Virgenes Trail, take the second rt and wind our way up to the bench, going around the hill. Those of us interested in a longer hike and spectacular views of the mesa can explore for a bit before reconvening at the bench for the potluck. After our fun, we’ll head back to our cars, reversing our route.

Please bring hat, layers, sunglasses, 2 liters of water, bug spray, flashlight, poles if you use them, and of course a yummy Potluck item to Share!
