“Summer Nights Party at Rocky Peak Hike & Potluck!”

Apprx. 5.2 Miles in Length and 1300’ Feet Elevation Gain. Rating -Intermediate.
Park on either side of Santa Susana Pass Road. Not recommended to park at trail head. We will walk across the Rocky Peak Bridge and meet at trail head on the North side of the 118 Freeway.
There are steep inclines on the hike and some rocky and slippery areas. Please bring poles if you need them. Bring 2+ liters of water and a potluck item or drink to share with the group! We will party atop a cement Cistern and enjoy views of both San Fernando and Simi Valleys! The Sandstone rock formations have been featured in many Films and TV Shows, including The Mandalorian and The Fablemans. Yerba Santa, California Sagebrush, and Black Sage will adorn the hillsides!
