Shorter Route 3.2 Miles - 1030 Ft. Gain - 3+ Hrs
This is an up and back route. Rating is moderate.

Longer route 6-7 miles - 1345 Ft. Gain - 5+ Hrs
This ia a longer loop route with Balance Rock Excursion. Rating is moderate/difficult

Hello Happy Hikers,

We will be parking at Mishe Mokwa Trailhead parking Lots directly of Yerba Buena Road(this is upper parking lots 1/4 mile before Sandstone Peak Trailhead parking Lot) at 11am start From the 101 Freeway at Westlake blvd(Hwy 23) it is Apprx 30 mins to Trailhead Parking Lots It is adviced to carpool and realize it is turny canyon driving…use caution as the drive is spectacular but not for faint or heart.

We will be doing a shorter up and back Peak Route and a longer Peak then Mishe Mokwa Trail Loop Route. Eric willl be doing the shorter route and Adam willll be doing the longer route with those that choose to join him. The Potluck will be held just below Sandstone Peak about 1.6 Miles(90 mins) from Start. The longer route may include an excursion to incredible Balance Rock in and back! And returning to Mishe Mokwa Parking Lot.

Please bring adequate water, sun glasses, sun screen, layers, bug spray, and poles if desired.
