What we’re about
Tell Compelling Stories. Build Confidence. Connect Through Story.
Welcome to Storytellers Toastmasters — a virtual public speaking club where we use storytelling to grow as communicators, leaders, and listeners.
Whether you’re prepping for a presentation, interview, or just want to speak up more easily in everyday life, this is a fun and supportive place to practice.
💻 Meetings are held online via Zoom. Just RSVP to attend — we’d love to meet you!
---
What You'll Experience at a Meeting:
- Structured Format (2 Hours) – We begin with a warm welcome and ground rules, then move into a full agenda of speeches, feedback, and interactive segments led by club members.
- Story Topics (our version of Table Topics) – A chance to respond to fun, thought-provoking prompts with a spontaneous 1–2 minute story. Guests are welcome to participate!
- Friendly, Supportive Atmosphere – Whether you speak or just observe, you’ll walk away inspired.
---
📌 Meetup Members vs Toastmasters Members:
By joining this Meetup group, you’ll get notified of our upcoming events and have a chance to RSVP as a guest.
If you’d like to go deeper (e.g., giving speeches, receiving evaluations, accessing the Toastmasters education program) and growing at your own pace — you can become a member of our Toastmasters club.
Guests are always welcome to our meetings. Some visit once, others come several times before joining the club. You’re free to explore at your own pace.
