Free Public Speaking Practice This Saturday on Zoom (Guests Welcome!)

Want to speak with more confidence? Practice with us this Saturday at Storytellers Toastmasters.

What’s Special This Week

You’ll hear two prepared speeches. One is “Nobody Laughed,” the story of a college professor who told the same corny joke all semester because he loved his subject too much to keep quiet. It’s a speech about sharing what you love, even when the room stays silent. After each speech, you can watch or join in as everyone gives the speaker kind, useful feedback.

What Is Toastmasters?
Toastmasters is a friendly, worldwide club where people practice public speaking and leadership. You don’t need experience, and you don’t need to prepare anything. Each meeting includes prepared speeches, a funny opening story, and quick, impromptu storytelling.

What to Expect as a Guest

You’ll say a quick hello at the start. Later, you may get a fun question so you can try a little speaking, but that part is always optional. If you’d rather sit back and watch, that’s perfectly fine.
