Evening Sail English Bay

Details
Join us for an evening of sailing as we navigate around the freighters at anchor, in Vancouver's English Bay.
Learn to steer, how to read the wind and how to use its varying strength to take you from False Creek to the Spanish Banks and back again. There is nothing quite as magical as raising sails, turning off the engine and using the wind to take us toward a destination.
Bring your camera, a waterproof jacket and some running shoes. Maybe an extra layer for the colder moments.
We depart at 5pm and return at 8pm. The sailing vessel is a 26 foot sloop with room for maximum 3 people.
Sailing requires participants to move freely of their own accord and is not sympathetic to those with mobility issues. For this reason, we request that all participants meet this requirement.
All excursions are on a licensed, commercial charter vessel with a certified captain and instructor. Following Provincial guidelines for Covid-19 Return to Sport, all participants must wear a facemask when unable to maintain a physical distance of less than 2 metres.
No exceptions (even if your glasses fog up and you can't see, which happens to me all the time!).
