Day Sailing Adventure at English Bay

Join Leisurely Sail Meetup Group for a fun-filled evening sailing adventure at English Bay. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the ocean, feel the breeze on your face, and learn the basics of sailing from experienced professionals. This event is perfect for both beginners and experienced sailors looking to spend a relaxing evening out on the water.

Bring a water bottle and a snack. It's always cooler on the water, so bring a light sweater or wind breaker. Sunscreen is a must - sailors always get more UV rays than anyone else! Polarized sunglasses are suggested. Running shoes are recommended (no hard soled shoes or open-toed shoes like sandals or flip-flops).

After we meet, we will go to the boat, review safety and leave the dock under power. Once we are out of False Creek, we will raise our sails and make our way around English Bay taking in the sights of the Vancouver skyline and Stanley Park. The trip will be 2-3 hours from departure to return.
