Chinese Cards Evening

Join us for some card games from China, the birthplace of playing cards!

While the deck most used nowadays is the standard international type, the games themselves have quite unique characteristics. We'll be mainly aiming for Guan Dan (Throwing Eggs), and possibly Gong Zhu (Catch the Pig), with the chance of Jiăn Hóng Diăn (Chinese Ten), Dou Dizhu (Fight the Landlord) and Zhăo Péngyou (Looking for Friends) to accommodate for odd player numbers, or a large group.

Come to play with us anytime between 6PM and 10PM at the Eel Pie pub in Twickenham!

The various games will let us choose the appropriate one for the players' appetites, be it something simple or more complex, with four different game types, some of them being quite distinct to Asia.
