Wimbledon Baking Group

Welcome to Wimbledon Baking Group!

Every month, we think of a theme, we bake something AT HOME in line with the theme, which may be sweet or savoury and we get together for a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon and share it all around, whilst having a cuppa and discussing all things baking! Quite often we also have a little quiz.

We meet in South Park Gardens, in a room next door to Bliss in the Park SW19 8PN, where you can buy your tea / coffee / juice.

This is a group that’s actually been going for more than a decade, originally on Meetup and then not and we have now launched again to get some new members.

The theme is always something very wide, so you can bake more-or-less anything! Cake, biscuits, bread, flan, etc.

There is absolutely NO competition. Feel free to bring your total disaster and people will be all too happy to offer advice. There’s no secret recipes.

You might like to bring an extra container to take some things home with you, as we’ll all be wanting to dish out what’s not eaten! If there’s many of us, then we just have a little taste of each thing.

The Meetup is free but we’d be really grateful for a quid to contribute towards the room hire.
