What we’re about

This group meets at 2PM on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. The number of writers fluctuate, though there is a core of steady attendees. All genres and types of writing are welcomed: literary, short story, novel, essay, poetry, science fiction, romance, espionage, satire, humor. The only genre not acceptable is pornography. The writers in the group have won awards, or been published in one venue or another, but beginners are more than welcomed.

Each person will present his work (about 3,000 words or 2 poems limit), whereupon everyone else will take turns critiquing and offering suggestions. Bring copies for everyone to follow as you read (at least 6). Politeness and courtesy are mandatory during the critique.

At present, we meet at Forrest Hills Library, though we may occasionally meet at a restaurant.
