Cambridge AI - AI in Defence and Security

Details

RedTech Recruitment, Grounded AI, Mark Rogers and Alex Rowthorn are delighted to announce the next Cambridge AI meetup. We are delighted to welcome new sponsor Lightbringer who support early stage businesses with a platform for patent development.

At our June meetup we are looking at AI in the context of defence and security. The realignment of the US and Europe has triggered new commitments to European rearmament. AI is raising the threat level to civil infrastructure and the defence and security industry in the UK and globally is mobilising to seek out innovative companies to ensure resilience and security.

We are delighted to be joined by world class experts and practitioners to review:

- How AI is driving automated innovation - with lessons from the Ukrainian conflict;
- How low cost drone technology - and the need to defend against it - is changing the shape of conflict;
- How the UK defence and security establishment is seeking out start ups and scale ups to protect us against new forms of threat.

Our speakers include:
Keith Dear, CEO Cassi AI;
Enrique Munoz de Cote, CTO Mutable Tactics;
Paul Larcey, Innovate UK Defence and Security specialist

We will be looking at case studies of how new technology is shaping the future of defence and security, and what start-ups can do to help provide protection in this new world.

We are delighted to be hosting by new venue, the Glasshouse at Innovate Cambridge near Cambridge Station. Please note the slightly earlier start time of 5.30pm
