Edible and Medicinal Plants of the Conifer Forest Plant Walk
Details
On this pay-what-you-can walk, we will wander the conifer woods of Powell Butte with Gradey Proctor of the Medicine Garden to learn plant ID and ecology, as well as the edible and medicinal uses of the plants we encounter. This hike will be approximately two miles, mostly in a fairly flat section of the park. Bring a curious mind and whatever you need for a leisurely stroll in the forest. Dress for the weather.
No registration necessary. Please note that we are not meeting at the main entrance to the park! Contact Gradey at Medicine Garden with any questions.
Cost is $0-$40, sliding scale. No one turned away for lack of funds.
