Hassocks to Bison Beer (Brighton Beach)

Greetings fellow hikers!

It's about time another hike was organised. Have been inspired by the below walk, that's being managed by Bison Beer brewery in Brighton.

Bison friends, lovers of hiking, lovers of beer. Let's all get together as we head into the month of Autumn.

Enjoy a beautiful Autumnal walk over the South Downs to end at our Beach Bar venue @ Sea Lanes and enjoy a delicious pint (and food!?) together.

We will reserve a big table inside to all drink and feast together post-hike.

Meeting time: 11:45am
Start Time: 12pm - we aim to set off at 12pm sharp!

End Location: Bison Beach Bar @ Sea Lanes, Brighton

GETTING TO THE BULL

Hassocks Train Station, then it's a 30 minute walk to The Bull OR get the 167 Village Rider to The Bull

OR

Burgess Hill Train Station, then get the 167 Village Rider Bus 15 minutes and it stops right outside The Bull

On meeting at The Bull - expect welcoming faces and a new group of hiking friends.

On arrival at Bison Beach Bar - cheers your happy-hiker friends and let's grab a drink together. You will be free to order what you like on arrival.

ABOUT THE HIKE

We will walk together over the stunning downs, over Ditching Beacon, through Stanmer Park Great Woods to Sea Lanes. The walk will be around 5 hours.

The walk is a pleasant and easy going walk - a mixture of roads and footpaths. There are splendid views across the Downs and a stroll through the woods to enjoy.

On arrival expect tunes, good food and delicious beers. Feel free to stay and enjoy drinks, food and tunes as long as you desire.
