What we're about

We aim to meet, socialise and network whilst having fun, with no age restrictions and across all worldly experiences and walks of life.
We offer international meetups, cultural exchanges, pub crawls in the traditional Bristolian style and lots more fun events, including days out, activities' discounts and private dining.
The group is organised by an enthusiastic group of individuals who are looking to meet like-minded people and exchange great ideas whilst having fun.
We only ask that our members keep an open perspective towards life, an upbeat attitude and an international outlook. We are looking forward to meeting as many world travellers as possible.

Late night walk in the woods with pub stop

The Mall Pub

A real walk in the woods experience, when dark descends and torches are not really needed. We'll meet at The Mall pub in Clifton and warm up with a couple of drinks and a snack before tackling the woods. We will start at the pub at 7.30pm and begin our walk towards Leigh Woods at 9.30pm. We will proceed to the woods and circle through the upper side, via North Rd. Once inside the woods, we will be stopping for drinks, chatter and a bit of sightseeing once we reach the top of the cliff overlooking the suspension bridge. We should be out of the woods by about 11.00pm, so just in time to enjoy the last ordering hour at the Albion pub, for those who want to carry on. Use of torches is not necessary and walking in the dark is actually more fun, but feel free to bring one if you like. Bring a jacket and maybe a scarf. It gets humid in the woods at night, bring some stamina as well and most importantly a rucksack with few drinks, to enjoy once at the top. Hope to see you there for a different night of fun :-)

Coffee afternoons and 'guess which cake or savoury snack' networking!

We don’t realise as we’re doing it but every day we quietly judge each person we meet. We look for clues that tell us what type of person they are and if they’re confident in themselves, and whether you can trust them, whilst they are doing the exact same with us. So why not break some of the initial assumptions and put our judgement to the test when the intention is meeting, greeting and exchanging more than just a casual glance, to form perhaps long-lasting friendships or even new relationships? A simple task like choosing a complete stranger and guessing what type of cake or savoury snack he or she might enjoy, will kick start the conversation about why you made that choice and challenge your assumptions in a friendly and jovial environment, when the least optimal selection will generate laughter and more chatter, instead of annoyance. We will have a dedicated space at the back of the coffee place and will start by writing our names on a piece of paper to put in a box, not on our clothes ;-D Each person will then be invited to pull names out of the box and without exchanging hints with the selected person, set out to buy a sweet or savoury snack before beginning to mingle in earnest. This will be fun, it will help everyone break the ice and we can all end up swapping cakes in the end. Come and mingle, be fun and open minded and be sure to bring back friendships, emotions and ideas, because after all, it’s not what you say but how you say it and what better start than a sweet treat offer!
