Munster social group meetup is for , Nights out , cinema nights, dining out, gigs and other activities In Limerick/Clare/Tipp/Galway/Kerry/Cork.
If you wish to organise an event get in touch and we can set you up as an organiser.
New members are very welcome and no minimum participation required.
Any suggestions or feedback please feel free to contact us.

Irish Chamber Orchestra at St Mary's Cathedral: Nature of Sound
Saint Mary's Cathedral, Bridge Street, Limerick, LK, IEJoin Munster Social Group for an Irish Chamber Orchestra (ICO) performance at St Mary's Cathedral, Limerick.
The ICO will be on the road again for another mini-tour in September 2026 and perform in St. Mary's Cathedral for an evening of the Nature of Sound, in collaboration with the Comptemporary Music Centre.

About the Performance:
Dive into a world of sound that is immediate, atmospheric, and deeply felt. From the shimmering stillness of Jane O’Leary to the restless pulse of Erkki-Sven Tüür and the windswept landscapes of David Fennessy, each piece opens a vivid sonic landscape.Nature flickers throughout, from the moonlit calm of Elaine Agnew’s The Moon to the drifting waves of Sam Perkin’s Nimbus as Jessie Montgomery’s Starburst flashes with electric energy. At its core, Max Richter’s On the Nature of Daylight draws you into quiet reflection and lingering beauty.
In collaboration with the Contemporary Music Centre, this programme marks its 40th anniversary and highlights a selection of leading Irish composers.

Munster Social Group invites you to join us for Culture Night 2026 at the Hunt Museum in Limerick. Among the various free events on offer, local musical ensemble The Quarter Dozen will be performing in The Captains' Room at The Hunt Museum.

The Quarter Dozen, an instrumental trio based in Limerick, masterfully blends traditional, classical, jazz, and Latin influences into their original compositions. Featuring percussion, piano, and wind, they craft a dynamic and immersive soundscape that bridges diverse musical worlds. Film at glór with Access Cinema: It Was Just An Accident

an award-winning drama from Iran.When a man and his family hit a dog with their car, they have no idea about the unexpected chain of events this accident will set in motion. Stopping at a garage to have their car repaired, they meet mechanic Vahid. Recognising the man, Vahid is shaken – believing him to be his torturer from his time in an Iranian prison.
The following day, Vahid kidnaps the man, intending to exact his vengeance. But as doubts start to creep in, he turns to a loose circle of other victims for confirmation. As they deal with their past and diverging worldviews, the group struggles to decide: is this definitely their torturer? What would retribution actually mean, and can they carry it out?
