Lace up your hiking boots and join Vancouver Outdoor Adventures for Mount Mulligan near Squamish a 11 km hike/snowshoe with around 900 meters of elevation gain. The stats are from the base of the Mamquam Forest Service Road (FSR) , if we can drive up the FSR it will be shorter.

You will need snowshoes, poles, spikes and proper outdoor gear especially boots, gloves, jacket and pants. We are aiming to start at the trailhead at 7:30 am am and finishing before 5pm (sun set) , traveling at a steady pace. If you have snowshoed in the winter previously that would be a preference for joining, the first half of the hike is up the FSR and the last third up the slope to the summit, it should offer some good view of surrounding peaks like Sky Pilot if there are clear skies.

If you want more info on this trail see Bestbchikes.ca

We will meet at St Davids Church in North Vancouver at 6:30 am and I will limit it to a smaller group of 4 until I know who can drive. I will be driving hence the limit to 4 attendees for now. Car pooling rate for the driver is around 10 dollars per hour likely around 2 to 2.5 hours of driving - please bring cash.

The trip is dependent on weather and snow conditions forecasted for that date, which I will check 2 or 3 days before.
