Lace up your hiking boots, bring your snowshoes and poles and join Vancouver Outdoor Adventures for Mt Chief Pascal near Squamish a 11 km hike/snowshoe with around 975 meters of elevation gain over 12 km (return) .

You will need snowshoes, poles, spikes and proper outdoor gear especially winter rated boots, gloves, jacket and pants. We are aiming to start at the trailhead at 8-9 am and finishing before 5pm (sun set) , traveling at a steady pace. If you have snowshoed or hiked in the winter previously that would be a preference for joining. If you have an ice axe this would be a preference also...its a fairly moderate slope but the last section to the summit is steep and is more of winter objective than a summer hike so we should see ski tracks and snow shoe tracks.

If you want more info on this trail see [Bestbchikes.ca](http://bestbchikes.ca/) or here https://www.alltrails.com/explore/poi/canada/british-columbia/---3/mount-chief-pascal

We will meet at St Davids Church in North Vancouver at 6:00 am and will limit it to a smaller group of 4 . Car pooling rate for the driver is around 10 dollars per hour likely around 2 to 2.5 hours of driving one way (4 to 5 hours total) please bring cash.

If you drive please have snow tires , I will be driving and can take up to 4 people.

The trip is dependent on weather and snow pack conditions forecasted for that date, which I will check 2 or 3 days before.
